Will Smith slamming comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars in 2022 has shocked the entire globe. Officials later acknowledged that what appeared to be a premeditated skit was, in fact, spontaneous.
The angry exchange between the two celebrities came in response to a joke made about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Rock made an unsavoury remark about Jada’s baldness, referring to her as “GI Jane,” to which her husband, Will, reacted with a smack onstage.
“Keep my wife’s name out of your fking lips,” the actor said as he walked back to his seat. Rock answered by saying, “Dude, you’re amazing. Yeah, it was a GI Jane joke,” Smith said again, “Keep my wife’s name out of your fking mouth.”
Soon later, Will Smith won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in “King Richard,” in which he states, “I’m being called on in my life to love people, to defend people, to be a river to my people.” I understand that in order to perform what we do, you must be able to take abuse. You must be able to make others rave about you. You have to be able to put up with people disrespecting you in this business. And you have to grin and seem as if everything is fine.”
The stunning incident comes after Jada Pinkett Smith, an actress, singer, and talk show host, recently came up about her issues with hair loss due to alopecia areata, an auto immune ailment. In December of last year, she tweeted a video of her hair loss and stated, “Mama’s going to have to take it all the way down to the scalp so no one thinks she’s had brain surgery or something. I’m going to be friends with this alopecia for the rest of my life!

Corticosteroids, an anti-inflammatory medicine used to treat autoimmune diseases, may be prescribed by doctors.
Immunotherapy, also known as Topical Immunotherapy, targets specific regions of the body to elicit allergic responses that may result in hair growth.
Other drugs, such as Minoxidil and Anthralin, can be taken under physician supervision. These medications promote hair growth.
